I'm not pissed, just disturbed.

I just realized about the several Filipino DA members who choose to mark their location as unknown or others and I had no problems to those who do it for fun, for privacy, for those who just feel like it or for some personal and legit reasons.

( Filipinos from abroad are totally OK and part of the exception although some of them wear our nationality mighty and proud and I'm happy for that. )

I don't have any against it but why is it so many?

I'm only pointing at those with Colonial mentality or the people who denies who they are not because they just do it for fun but because of shame and wants to live in a different nationality. Why do you have to force and lie on yourselves? I am also ashamed of my country as well.

Infact, we all do. :/

I kinda feel bad because some tried to hide their real location as if they shun their own nationality to DA in order for other DA members to think that they are from other countries but the Philippines.

I got a bad feeling some are just too embarrassed to show the whole world that they are Filipinos and it's very distasteful. Not to mention the increasing rate of hypocrisy and shame towards their own country is getting trendy nowadays.
And to the fact that the Philippines needs a recognition of creativity towards the world, ( not to mention that art and literature can boost the confidence, open mindedness, inspiration and tourism since our country is suffering from poverty and is in need for a little inspiration and help from us ) and at this rate, it's pretty difficult to achieve it.

I don't get it, I mean, you know where you guys are but you chose not to show it. I've got a hard time finding Filipinos who are really capable of sketching an awesome masterpiece , in order to boost motivation to my fellow pipz here, because some of them marked their DA accounts as others or unknown .

I don't usually practice nationalism and I am not patriotic. Heck, I even have alot of things to hate/complain about this country but I DO know where I lived. I'm not ashamed for what I am, I do not want to lie to myself, I do not want to run away from who I am and I am happy for what my country provides me but I hate what my country has become.

I had no intention to make you all feel that our nationality is better than theirs because we're not perfect and we're all just plain and pure human beings. Simple as that.

In short, I just want to see just a little, friendly pride for my country. Our nation needs an inspiration, and I hope some of us here will do something about it. Do it not just for our country, but for the rest of us. An inspiration is equivalent to hope because people here are losing hope already.

I dunno about you guys, but it depends on you.  No violation of human rights intended on this short rant of mine. If you guys do not want to, I fully respect that. Just a factual, based on my perspective opinion.

I may not know the reason why you do not want to show it but you do know what's the reason.

I may not know you guys but you know who you are.
